We would like to take this opportunity to tell you about our association.
Please read the following carefully before submitting yourself for membership acceptance. Obvious failure to read the information provided here will result in the automatic deletion of your application.
Membership
We are not a directory, and we do not 'charge' for 'advertising.' We are simply a group of women dedicated to raising the standards of companionship worldwide. We are a professional association. Think of it as a special club or sorority, or the "Bar Association" for professional companions.
This is why we require that potential Pearl Elite International members (PEIs) adhere to certain standards which set them apart from average companions on the web. Our members are concerned more with an extended companionship service than an hourly interlude. We cater to the most eligible of gentlemen, for whom money is no object.
Manners, taste, class, comportment, and social grace are all factors in determining eligibility for membership. Applicants whose websites and personal demeanor do not possess elements we feel illustrate these factors do not fare well in the application process. When filling out your form, please be sure to include information such as educational, artistic and other such accomplishments or experiences which set you apart from others. These are not necessary, but helpful. We do require that your writing be grammatically correct (please advise if English is not your first language- exceptions will certainly be made in this case). We also require that your website be tasteful, well-written and professional in appearance. We will not accept ladies whose websites feature tasteless and/or explicit nudity, unprofessional photos, or explicit details deemed inappropriate by us.
If a candidate meets the basic standards set forth throughout this site, her application will be submitted for consideration. Among other parts of the deliberation process, membership is decided upon by a vote among existing PEI members. When filling out your application, keep this in mind, and make your application an introduction as well.
Ladies who do not take their application process seriously and submit short, uninformative applications, do not fare well.
Occasionally, we may feel a certain candidate has very good potential to be a member, but perhaps her website design, her copy (text in her site), or her photos do not quite meet our standards. If she completes her interview satisfactorily, we may suggest changes to her site that would enable her to be considered again for membership. Candidates may always contact us for information on improving quality in every aspect of professional companionship. Our goal is not to exclude anyone, but to raise standards in the profession, and help all professional companions achieve the polish needed to meet them.
Charter members are the "governing board" of the association, and we will be arranging board meetings with charter members twice a year (which may take place via conference call) to plan for future directions of PEI. Charter members' votes have more sway than other members. Charter membership is inherited via seniority.
We now require a personal interview with an existing verified or charter member to meet eligibility requirements. It is the responsibility of the applicant to make arrangements to meet with the PEI member for the interview.
Once accepted for membership, members are required to maintain the standards set forth above and throughout this site. If it is discovered that one or more of the core standards (listed on the "recommend" page) are being violated subsequent to acceptance, you will be expelled for one year and any dues paid will be forfeited. After one year, you may reapply, but your application will be submitted for a vote by existing members and is not guaranteed.
If you do not hear back from us within one month acknowledging receipt of your application, chances are that our membership did not feel that your web presence, or if known to one or more among the membership, your personality, met certain standards or were appropriate for PEI. Applicants whose websites violate one or more of the standards set forth here (with no explanations) are automatically deleted. If your website does not presently meet these standards, but you would like to know how it can, please email us. Conforming to these standards does not guarantee acceptance, but it does guarantee consideration. If you have previously submitted an application, and did not hear back from us within one month, you are welcome to submit another application in 6 months time to be reconsidered.
Membership dues
Membership dues are necessary to enable the presence and continued success of this site. At the present time, annual membership dues are $1200 U.S., and must be received prior to having one's profile published.
